شارك فريق مشروع الشباب والتكنولوجيا من أجل التنمية المجتمعية في المؤتمر العربي الدولي العاشر لتكنولوجيا المعلومات والذي عقد في مدينة صنعاء في الفترة ما بين 15-17 كانون الأول (ديسمبر)ز

وفيما يلي العرض المميز الذي قدمه فريق المشروع خلال المؤتمر:

تم إطلاق موقع مشروع الشباب والتكنولوجيا من أجل التنمية المجتمعية على شبكة الإنترنت. سيتضمن الموقع آخر أخبار المشروع وفعالياته، بالإضافة إلى المحتوى التدريبي لأنشطة المشروع.

ضمن إطار مشروع "شباب في التقنية للتنمية الإجتماعية" والذي تقوم بتنفيذه مؤسسة تنمية القيادات الشابة، قامت المؤسسة بتطوير وتنفيذ خمسة دراسات إستقصائية لتقييم الوضع الراهن للتعليم الجامعي في مجال تقنيات المعلومات والإتصالات ومتطلبات سوق العمل (مع التركيز على مؤسسات المجتمع المدني والمنظمات غير الحكومية) وإمكانيات توظيف خريجي إختصاصات تقنيات المعلومات والإتصالات. وقد قام الباحثون خلال هذا المشروع من تجميع قسط وافر من البيانات من المصادر التالية:

• 13 رئيس قسم ومدرس ومحاضر في أقسام الجامعات المختصة بتقنيات المعلومات والإتصالات
• 100 طالب في السنة الأخيرة من دراسات تقنيات المعلومات والإتصالات
• 30 موظف في مجال تقنيات المعلومات والإتصالات
• 5 مؤسسات غير حكومية
• 19 شركة خاصة

The Royal Scientific Society reached an agreement with Ministry of Information and Communications Technology (MoICT) to benefit from services offered by the national SMS Gateway. The Gateway is one of the projects of the e-Government Program issued to facilitate communications between users of e-services and government organizations. It is the number one e-Service used amongst The Jordanian Society (according to e-Government portal: www.jordan.gov.jo).

The (sohitcom.org.jo) web and e-mail domains are now activated. The portal is under construction at the moment as the SOHITCOM team are working on the various modules of the portal. It will be available soon!

An Workshop on understanding risks over the internet, adopt safe behaviors and promote an attitude change between Syrian teenagers regarding behaviors in their internet experience, will be conducted in Lattakia city on 4,5 and 6th August 2009 for beneficiaries of i can we can project.

The training program will enable beneficiaries in a later step to spread awareness among schools and other NOGs in Lattakia on risks over internet and how to adopt safe behaviour.

As per the implementation plan of I can we can project, a workshop was conducted in Lattakia city and attended by our beneficiaries. The workshop was about how to plan your project (Problems, Objectives and Activities) then there was a session for brainstorming for ideas.
