[SOHITCOM] will be part of the e-Government SMS gateway

The Royal Scientific Society reached an agreement with Ministry of Information and Communications Technology (MoICT) to benefit from services offered by the national SMS Gateway. The Gateway is one of the projects of the e-Government Program issued to facilitate communications between users of e-services and government organizations. It is the number one e-Service used amongst The Jordanian Society (according to e-Government portal: www.jordan.gov.jo). The service is available to all subscribers to all mobile service providers in Jordan: Zain, Orange, Umnia and Experss, using the same subscription number 94444. Using this service, we will be able to send out push sms’s announcing circulations and other awareness matters. It will also allow citizens to send pull sms’s from their side forwarding their inquiries and seeking feedback.
